New Delhi: The air quality in the public capital has crumbled today and has slipped to the ‘serious’ classification, as per the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting And Research (SAFAR).
The general Air Quality Index (AQI) in Delhi remains at 425.
In the interim, the air nature of adjoining urban communities in the NCR area like Noida and Gurugram stays in the ‘basic’ and in ‘exceptionally poor’ class separately.
The AQI in Noida remains at 570, while the Gurugram’s AQI is at 375.
According to the public authority organizations, an AQI somewhere in the range of nothing and 50 is considered ‘great’, 51 and 100 ‘agreeable’, 101 and 200 ‘moderate’, 201 and 300 ‘poor’, 301 and 400 ‘exceptionally poor’, and 401 and 500 ‘serious’.
