New Delhi: Actor Jacqueline Fernandez appeared before the enforcement directorate or ed today to be questioned in connection with the probe that was ongoing in ₹ 200 crore case laundering case related to Conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar.
Visual shared by Ani’s news agency showed Ms Fernandez appeared at the Probe Agent Office in Delhi at 11 am. Previous actors have missed various calls issued by federal bodies with different reasons.
The question was significant in this case because this institution investigated to explore the crime results in the alleged multi-crore extortion racquet operated by Chandrasekhar.
The actor recently stopped leaving the country because of the LOC (see circular) against him in this case.
The central body has linked evidence to show financial transactions from Chandrasek to MS Fernandez. A horse worth ₹ 52 lakh and Persian cats worth ₹ 9 lakh are among gazing prizes ₹ 10 crores provided by Chandrashekar to MS Fernandez, Ed has said in the load sheet, according to the source.
Together with Ms. Fernandez, the cargo sheet said actor Nora Fatehi, who had been questioned in this case. Ms. Fernandez and his aides were also questioned.
Chandrashekar previously told the media that he had given a car to Ms. Fatehi.
Previously, Nora Fattehi’s representative said that he was “a victim”. “He did not know or had a personal relationship with the defendant and had been called by Ed to truly help investigations,” representatives, added that the actor worked together in an investigation.
