A conflict of words broke out between Samajwadi Party boss Akhilesh Yadav and previous party MLA Pramod Gupta who escaped to the saffron camp on Thursday. Brother by marriage of ex-Uttar Pradesh boss priest Mulayam Singh Yadav, Gupta joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the early evening and blamed Akhilesh Yadav for despising “Samajwadis” and drafting lawbreakers to the party.
Addressing news organization ANI, Gupta said, “Akhilesh Ji detests ‘Samajwadis’ in SP. Individually, he has cornered everybody and kept just toadies around in the party. He would rather avoid individuals who work on the ground. Nobody has at any point won with an edge of more than 18,000 votes from the Bidhuna seat with the exception of me. I was denied ticket first up.”
Akhilesh Yadav had later responded to the assertion with an insult, saying he was “thankful” to the BJP for finishing SP’s “parivaarwaad”.
Aside from Gupta, previous Congress pioneer Priyanka Maurya on Thursday joined the BJP in front of the significant Uttar Pradesh get together political decision.
