New Delhi: The dismantling of the 40-multilevel twin tower lifted illegally from the developer of Real Estate Supertech in Noida will begin in two weeks, the Supreme Court said today. The court has directed the authority of Noida to hold a meeting of the institution concerned within 72 hours and completed the demolition schedule in the Zamrud court.
The bench consisting of Judge D Y Chandrachud and Surya Kant said, “CEO Noida will take all the necessary steps to observe the direction of this court, the demolition work will begin no later than two weeks from this order”.
On January 17, the top yesterday has approved a proposition for demolition institutions resolved by Noida authorities. Supertech was asked to sign a contract with agency, “Edifice”, within a week.
Previously, the court had attracted a builder because he did not obey his order to destroy the twin towers in the 93 Noida sector and warn that the director would be sent to prison for “playing boles with the court”.
Major Real Estate has told the court that it will need more than three months allocated to carry out a safe demolition process.
The Supreme Court has also asked Supertech to return money with an interest in all home buyers who have booked a flat on the Twin Tower project on February 28.
“Don’t make them come to court with a disgusted petition”, Judge Dy Chandrachud and Bela Trivedi said while hearing the petition by home buyers.
Realty companies accused of building two 40-storey towers illegally in the Emerald court housing project. Expansion involves more than 900 new flats and 21 stores.
The resident of the housing project then went to court, claiming the twin towers was being built because of violations of norms and their agreement was not taken for expansion.
